Open to all experienced and intermediate U14 players. No club affiliation required. Please refer to below updated ‘26-’27 USAFH age guidelines.
OVERVIEW:
8-week field player and goalie specific training designed to provide consistent weekly technical skill and tactical game play development to supplement school programs, prepare for Winter/Spring ‘26-’27 club seasons, and serve as prep for athletes competing in upcoming travel showcases: Shooting Star Thanksgiving Tournament (Virginia - Nov ’26), NFHCA Winter Escape Showcase (Florida-Jan ’27) and Disney Sunshine Showcase (Florida-Jan ’27). See below evaluation opportunities for showcase roster selections.
Weekly training sessions on Mondays and Sundays for all registered players;
Opportunity to compete in 3 U14 Fall club league play dates for athletes selected to Fall team league rosters*
*Players will be evaluated for club league play during the first few training sessions and from previous club training experience and notified of roster selection by mid-September.
U14 Fall ‘26 Schedule/Locations:
Sundays 9/13 through 11/1 from 2:30-4:00 PM at Milton Academy – Milton
Mondays 9/21 through 10/26 from 7:00-8:30 PM at Starland SportsPlex – Hanover
Club league games - for selected U14 players: 9/20, 9/27, 10/4 * 2 games per day at Moses Brown School – Providence, RI
Final schedule will be uploaded to LeagueApps calendars for registered players

Nov ’26: Shooting Star Thanksgiving (11/27-11/26) Richmond, VA
Jan ’27 USAFH Disney Sunshine Showcase U14 11v11 team (1/22-1/24) - ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Kissimmee, FL
Jan ‘27: NFHCA Winter Escape (1/15-1/17) *2031 YOG and older athletes only
Evaluation dates for roster consideration: 1) August 19th – Union Point Weymouth; 2) August 23rd Starland SportsPlex Hanover; 3) September Fall training sessions
U14 players will be prompted to identify tournament interest and evaluation date attendance during registration
Showcase roster notifications will be issued by late September
Cost: $225 * includes tryout evaluation for athletes exploring selection to True Grit’s Fall/Winter Nov '26 showcase events; tournament fees and associated travel not included.
